Nicknamed "Chandra", the winner of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1983 was born on October 19, 1910 in Lahore (present-day Pakistan). It is thanks to him that part of the mystery "How are the stars born and dying? "Could be elucidated in the 1930s. PhD student at the University of Cambridge, he is very interested in the issue of the evolution of stars.
